The business's responsibility for its data
The business is responsible for the data it enters into the platform, for the lawfulness of collecting it, and for obtaining its customers' consent where required, including consent to marketing messages.
Meta platforms: WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram
When a business connects a WhatsApp number, a Facebook Page or an Instagram account through the "Ghaith 360" app:
- The business must comply with Meta's policies and terms, including:
- WhatsApp Business Policy
- Messenger Platform Policy
- Instagram Platform Policy, now part of the Meta Developer Policies, together with the Instagram Terms of Use
- Meta Platform Terms
- The business must obtain its customers' consent before messaging them, in the way each platform requires, must honour any request to stop messages immediately, and must not send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.
- The business is solely responsible for the content of its messages, templates and attachments, and for their lawfulness and accuracy.
- Ghaith may suspend a connection or sending, temporarily or permanently, if these policies or our Acceptable Use Policy are breached, or if Meta requires it, to protect the platform and the connected numbers and accounts. Where possible, we will tell the business why and what is needed to lift the suspension.
- The business bears the cost of WhatsApp messages according to Meta's pricing and the agreed billing method.
